Evgenia Lapteva

Evgenia Lapteva (1987) is a poet, artist and journalist. Graduated from the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University majoring in journalism and the PRO ARTE institute majoring in cultural journalism. Member of art groups “SAMIZHE” and “Gentle ladies”. As an artist Evgenia took part in various art exhibitions and projects: personal exhibition “Thoughts” (Kaliningrad, 2004); student art exhibition “Artery” (Kaliningrad, 2005); exhibition “Subjective reality” (Kaliningrad, 2008); international festival of contemporary art “Interfest: short circuit” (Chernyakhovsk, 2008); “Big-small” (Svetlogorsk, 2008); performance “I can’t play the piano” (Kaliningrad, 2008); co-curator of a project “Rustle or four hours before the leaf fall” (Kaliningrad, 2008); performance “Dry poetry”; action “The end of the summer” (Saint Petersburg, 2008). Evgenia participated in an international festival of poetry “Slowwwo” (Kaliningrad, 2006-2008); Ist festival of student poetry at the Russian State Humanitarian University (Moscow); Russian and Lithuanian literary plein-air “Baltoslavia” (Zelenogradsk, 2007); literature days in the Kaliningrad region (2008); international festival of media poetry “Ventilator” (Saint Petersburg, 2009). Evgenia’s poetry was published in the anthology of contemporary Kaliningrad poetry “Children of homeless nights” (2006); “Parallels” magazine (translated in Lithuanian” (2007); collection of poetry “My music” (Saint Petersburg, 2009); almanac “The day of open windows 2” (Moscow, 2009). Author of art books “Dry poetry”, “Dry poetry. Part two”, “Dinner of silence” (2008).
