Donatas Savickis

Donatas Savickis (born in 1987 in Klaipėda).Stage-director, event organiser. Completed Directing studies in the Faculty of Arts at Klaipėda University, took part in the activities of the organization of artists TEMA, later founded an independent creative organization “Kolektyvinis sodas”/Collective garden/ and has been developing his activities under its name until today: stages theatre performances, organises festivals, art workshops, other events. The performance “Lietuviai” (“Lithuanians”) staged by D. Savickis on the basis of G. Grajauskas’ texts is included in the repertoire of Klaipėda Drama Theatre; the object performance for the whole family „Tamsus debesėlis“/Little dark cloud/ – in the repertoire of Klaipėda Puppet Theatre. He takes part in the activities of Klaipėda Puppet Theatre, works as a pedagogue in „Aušra“ Drama studio at Klaipėda Youth Centre. Lives and works in Klaipėda.
