Jacek Niegoda (born 1972, Gdańsk): graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture (Intermedia Lab) of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He cooperated with the Island Gallery and the Open Atelier. He was a co-founder of the Progress Island Foundation and the Central Office for Technical Culture. He makes video works and artistic campaigns in which he comments upon the reality using his specific sense of humor. His works often refer to concrete places, e.g. the Gdańsk Shipyard. In his works, he also often touches upon the relations of art, power and technique. He lives and works in Gdańsk.
