Dorota Nieznalska (born 1973, Gdańsk): graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk where she was also awarded her PhD. She mainly creates objects, installations, videos and photography. She is one of the Gdańsk representatives of the critical art trend. She is interested in the issues of human engagement in social norms, corporeality in the Polish catholic reality and the place of the woman and man in the patriarchal society. She was the central figure of the scandal and the well-publicized trial connected with her work “Passion”.
