Irma Leščinskaitė (born in 1970 in Alytus). Painter, pedagogue. Graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts acquiring a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Licentiate’s degrees.
Completed a traineeship in Germany and Austria. Member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association. She held over 20 personal exhibitions, took part in over 80 group exhibitions and projects in Lithuania, Austria, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Latvia, France. I. Leščinskaitė represents the trend of abstract painting. According to the artist, the “self”, or so-called “inner world“ is not and may not be her only source of inspiration – among the treasures of culture she looks for something more permanent than the volatile emotional states of an individual. Lives and works in Klaipėda.
